MY STORY

a perpetual tinkerer

A designer working out of the San Francisco Bay Area–I have had the opportunity to work on various projects from SaaS, to Interaction, Branding and Web Design. Through my education and work as a Graphic Designer, I’ve come to understand the importance of seeding a brand and appropriately representing it. I have a strong foundation in design principles like formal mark making, color, patterns, gestalt principles, and typography. I am also an eager detail-driven individual who takes on challenges beyond a project’s requirements.

Much of my work consists of front-end web development, information graphics and identity & branding—and I’m comfortable with content development, management, and social media marketing. I have a solid understanding of front end languages from HTML and CSS to Javascript—and have developed sites both statically and for multiple content management systems. I am proficient in web animtion and understand the importance of SVG integration. I work hard and play hard—outside of work, I’m an active bike polo player, homebrewer and perpetual tinkerer.
